Why I care so deeply

Anymore Creative came to be out of a passion for helping people live a life they truly want to be living. For entrepreneurs, this starts with an efficient and effective brand. Just as I did, I want others to be filled with ambition in their day-to-day while also achieving lifestyle freedom. We enjoy working hard, we love to chase ideas, but we also want to feel the sun and be present with our loved ones. There’s no reason we can’t have both.

This is our life and it’s up to us to own it and create it for ourselves.

My story

I’ve been surrounded by entrepreneurship my whole adult life so I’ve always been close to the action, having a good sense of the behind-the-scenes. But nothing taught me the value of time like having a baby in a town with almost zero childcare.

With 17+ years into my professional career, providing for myself and learning plenty along the way, I was “succeeding” (making a good paycheck, working from home) and I had a lot to be grateful for. But I wasn’t excited anymore. Every day just kind of… happened.

I would take on passion projects to stay motivated and I always toyed with the idea of taking the full plunge, but never had the guts.

Then I had a baby. Maybe it’s a tale as old as time, but it was the kick I need to make the leap into building something that felt better.

I needed time. I needed flexibility. I needed to be HAPPY and fulfilled. I love to work! But getting hung up on things that didn’t have meaning to me was making my light dim.

So I put in my notice, left my VP Art Director position, built my business during nap times, and here we are.

Now my stresses, my celebrations, my wins, my losses, my schedule are all my own.

Get to know me

I ended up getting pretty serious on this site, but I’m usually decently goofy on the day-to-day. I keep it real with some east coast vibes, and take it lightly at a Colorado pace. The Pale Blue Dot poster pretty much sums up my outlook at most times.

WHAT I’M UNWILLING TO COMPROMISE ON —

Every brand must be rooted in purpose and intention — the brand must connect deeply to you in the end.

All work will be built on strong design fundamentals and best practices that I refuse to stray from with my traditional training — we will not be relying on trends here.

Everything will be approached from a framework angle — designing as a system with assets that are easy to apply are crucial for saving time in entrepreneurship.
